Differential Pressure Switches

When a change occurs in the differential pressure between the two sides of the diaphragm, the spring loaded diaphragm moves, transmitting a force to a snap switch. The switch may be designed to actuate on either increasing or decreasing differential pressure. Diaphragm motion is resisted by a calibrated spring.
